Biomass heating system for an agricultural cooperative society in Cuneo

Initial request

The customer company distributes greenhouse and field-grown vegetables throughout Italy. It came to us with the need to differentiate the fuel, to reduce costs and obtain a more suitable green heating system for the agricultural sector in which it operates.

Developed project

At Enerqos we designed and installed a 2 * 500 kWtbiomass heating system powered by pellets. By mutual agreement with the customer, we opted for the Operating Lease formula, with a periodic fee for the customer and initial investment and maintenance costs for the duration of the contract borne by us.

Results achieved

Thanks to the system we developed, the customer has achieved annual cost savings of €70,000.
